cities of imagination
This series of drawings builds upon elements of time and memory, exploring the limits between real and imagined and illustrating how landscape gives its place to urban and vice versa. The series consists of three drawings: the Blue City, the Brown City and lastly, the City of Water. These emerged from a non-linear process and a dialogue between analogue and digital media and were deeply inspired by Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities.
